June 2010:

Boo-wow, meow let's get some pet stamps today! Animal Rescue-Adopt a Shelter Pet stamps available from the USPS . Part of sales goes to animal rescue!
July 10th the Pet-triotic Adoption Event.

August 2010:

PLAN AHEAD:
August 21, 2010 the local shelters particpate in National Homeless Pet Adoption day by hosting their own local events.
Don't forget to Bark Out Loud for National Dog Day on August 26th, 2010 this year! BOW_WOW!

Ongoing:

Hospice of Health First's Bright Star Center for Grieving Children & Families program is collecting pet food donations for pet families in the community . Pet food is being currently being distributed on the second Saturday of each month starting at 10am until food runs out. Food is disbursed for up to two (2) pets per family in need. Hospice for HealthFirst facility is located at 1900 Dairy Road, Melbourne, FL.
